TEXTILWERKEN

Found this fantastic german craft book in a library.
Full of exciting images that i dont know which ones to choose for this post.
Sadly my german is hopeless to understand the text
although I studied it for some time..
I should have been more serious in school.
(The book is called Textilwerken grundlagen und lehrwege.)

+Go read this heartwarming short story.

++Makoto Kagashima's awesome.

SAD FLOWER

I'm in love with Lauri Faggioni's creatures.
I also like the music video she did for devendra banhart's 'a ribbon'.
A great video for a great song.

I'm supposed to be doing something else but I'm browsing utrecht (a bookshop in Tokyo)'s webshop again.
On the way, I (re-)discovered some images of beautiful spoon collection;
1. Jasper Morrison:: A book of spoons

2.3.4. Some spread from Hermann Junger's book
( would love to own this!)

P.S. himaa's bag on sale!

Before I forget

Nice things spotted on the internet lately
1.Justin Waldron via make it easy
2. Photo by siepfabriek
3. Mina perhonen usabag
*photo from kuu kukka
I've been lucky enough to be able to help mina perhonen a bit
a couple of times during the fashion week here.
I've got to say that their creations are even more beautiful in real life.
Ah I'm overjoyed every time I see their delicate
and yet playful prints and embroideries..

Experiment

Circles.

"Sandy [Alexander Calder] was never, in all his long life, unhappy.
He himself said that he had "a big advantage"
as he was inclined to be happy by nature.
Once a magazine reporter asked him if he ever experienced sadness,
and he answered, "No, I don´t have the time."
