2. I recently discovered Sri Threads.

From what I know, it's a textile gallery in NY, specializing in antique Japanese folk textiles.
I've no knowledge on the subject so I learn a lot from their blog.
The 2nd pic above however, is Ralli quilts from Pakistan which I find beautiful as well.

both: heavy, knotted short-pile carpets

Agneta Flock stuffed velvet forms to produce liana and jungles
in saturated and heavy colours towards the end of the sixties.
She also worked at that time with reclining and 'growing' forms in a lesser
format that formed part of organic plant shapes. The jungles seemed to divide the
room as they were hung from the ceiling.

Found this fantastic german craft book in a library.

Full of exciting images that i dont know which ones to choose for this post.

Sadly my german is hopeless to understand the text

although I studied it for some time..

I should have been more serious in school.
(The book is called Textilwerken grundlagen und lehrwege.)
