Macadam
We opened a small workshop for kids at Centre Pompidou some week ago.
I loved observing the kids play and draw freely.

MOON TREE
Gabriel Orozco inspires me. I'm starting to look at things around me with fresh eyes.
I don't want to be a master. I want to be a kid.
To keep making art, you have to put yourself in the position of a beginner.
You have to be excited by a stone on the sidewalk, or like a child, by the flight of a bird.

HAPPY HOUR
I visited an exhibition of Paul Klee the other day, one of my favorite artists.
There was a quote on the wall and it somehow moved me.
It was something like this:
'Colour possesses me. This is the meaning of my happy hour. Colour and I are one. I'm a painter. '
I thought my life would be quite boring if I stopped creating.

Last post on the books from my trip to Basel.
I was lucky enough to find an amazing secondhand bookshop
full of children's books which suit my taste.
The book above is a collection of children's drawings,

each displayed with a name of the 'artist' and his/her age.
It's one of the most beautiful books I've ever seen.

Oh Berlin was amazing! I didn't bother taking many photos though.
However, there are several artists I discovered during this short trip.
Alexandra Bircken is one..
See an interview with her here
Another thing: Olafur Eliasson's exhibition
at Martin Gropius Bau was especially stunning!
It's been a while since I've been to such a stimulating exhibition.
Thanks everyone for the tips.
I can't wait to go back (probably in the weekend next time for the fleamarkets..).
